Amazon's Marketplace team is looking for a bright, customer-obsessed, driven, and creative marketing manager to be a part of a team that strives to empower the growth of entrepreneurs on Amazon. You will get the unique opportunity to create and execute a marketing strategy which will include (but is not limited) to digital display, SEM, social media, and video display advertising to reach millions of potential small businesses to sell on Amazon. A successful individual in this role will be an enthusiastic and data-driven marketer, excited by ownership and responsibility for developing and executing digital marketing efforts to drive new seller acquisition for Amazon Marketplace in North America. You will design, launch, manage, evaluate, optimize, and scale our paid media campaigns. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, love digging into data, be able to analyze trends, and know how to develop innovative strategies to maximize campaign performance. Written and verbal communication excellence is essential.

You will get to partner closely with a top-of-class creative team to build content and messaging that attracts entrepreneurs to sell on Amazon. You will also collaborate with global digital marketing and content teams to provide thought leadership and drive alignment and impact worldwide.

The ideal candidate will take an analytical approach to problem solving and have a proven track record in building and executing strategic display programs. This person will have experience working within cross-functional organizations to develop customer facing experiences that improve awareness and acquisition.

Job responsibilities for this role include:
· Design, implement, test, and scale our paid advertising campaigns with an initial focus on digital display marketing but responsibility for all paid advertising channels
· Own a marketing budget with accountability for sellers that visit Amazon sell pages
· Analyze and optimize all aspects of ad performance, including strategy, image, copy, targeting, bidding, landing pages, and funnel performance
· Use your marketing intuition to capture opportunities that can't be seen in the data
· Design and implement test plans to continually improve performance of existing ad channels
· Apply the same rigorous experimental framework to explore new ad channels that can scale and further drive improvement
· Ability to leverage analytics and complex data sets to understand campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, drive decisions, and measure outcomes
· Clearly report results, key learnings from campaign experiments, and propose recommendations based on analytical insights
· Identify strategic audiences to retarget and deploy contextual messaging to encourage graduation to the next stage of the marketing funnel

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of work experience and 3+ years of digital display marketing experience
· Experience with large lead-generation websites and a proven track record of growing acquisition via retargeting
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
· Ability to navigate through ambiguity with a bias for action and hunger to learn
