AWS needs individuals that bring the Corporate Finance experience AND the entrepreneurial aptitude to accelerate decision making and management of the business. Also needed is the intellectual capacity to produce innovative ideas/analysis and the willingness to do the heavy lifting to implement those decisions.

This role is on the AWS Infrastructure FP&A team. We provide end-to-end financial support driving AWS to be the low cost provider in Cloud computing and leader in customer experience. This includes supporting business owners in building, operating and innovating our Cloud datacenters. We support operations, business development, and engineering. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
· This position will partner with the business leadership to drive business metrics reporting and automation. Additional responsibilities include business and financial forecasting, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, and ad hoc business analysis support.
· Create, improve, maintain business metrics to help leadership most effectively manage the business.
· Report on the financial performance of the business. Lead in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review. An ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing finance processes for speed, agility and insight.
· Analyze and report on key metrics to ensure we are running a lean business while exceeding customer expectations.
· Monitor compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business.
· Manage the financial planning process. Model, analyze and forecast metrics that drive budgeting, forecasting and business decisions.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other technical discipline.
· 2+ years of relevant finance experience. Other type experience will be considered if demonstrates the problem solving, financial acumen, and business partnering skills required, such as management consulting, banking.
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
· Strong analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills.
