About the role

Youwill maintain, troubleshoot and implement customisations of the Amadeus global netowork WAN, as well asrecommend improvements. In addition, you will participate in the development of the technical direction and work with customers on their requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

· Support and troubleshoot the global WAN based on Cisco and Juniper routers, as well as the escalation of Incident and Problem management records
· Recommend changes to enhance the stability and performance of the relevant areas
· Provide detailed technical documentation for networks and systems projects and solutions
· Work with internal stakeholders and customers to implement agreed requirements
· Follow Change Management processes
· Support and troubleshoot Protocols on the WAN including MPLS Support the various network environments using Cisco, Arista, and HPE network hardware and on the network include Fabric path, spanning tree, OSPF, BGP and other protocols.
· Life cycle support for devices, including hardware replacement and firmware upgrades.

About you:

· University degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 2+ years relevant technical experience
· Good knowledge of global WAN based on Cisco and Juniper routers
· Ability to read TCP dumps and traces
· F5-CTS, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIS / JNCIPCertification or equivalent
· Presentation and document writing skills
· IT infrastructure services support and provision
· Understanding of Amadeus Products, Services and our position within the broader travel industry
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·
Excellent problem solving skills

·
Ability to manage internal projects, and experience of working within large project teams

·
Must be able to work under pressure
