Team Description

The department is integrated in a division for quality assurance. Part of our responsibility is to create and improve our tools and process. It is there to support a community of testers and beyond that to improve the quality of our Amadeus products and applications that are under the division’s responsibility.

Our organization is the entry point of the whole R&D for travel distribution products. It delivers Frontend and backend solutions for airlines and travel agencies.

Main Responsibilities

In the scope of the tester’s teams, we need to provide visibility on our deliverables (number of script created, script monitored, project started/finished, time to completion, tracking of overspent, tracking of different level of test, statistics on test coverage, number of bug found …)

The internship is split into different steps :

1/ He/she willhelp the teamto perform/finalize an audit within the division in order to determine which metrics has to be implemented.

2/ Once the list is validated, he/she participate in implementing a tool/process able to collect automatically these metrics. The more the process is automatic, the less error will appear. This process will have to collect data from Team management tools like JIRA, ALM, Management Suite and temporally internal excel file.

3/ He/she willhelp the teamto design and create a graphical interface in order to show the metrics and quickly analyse them. This web page will be accessible from division employee.

4/ Base on the data collected and the analyse performed, he/she will provide a set of improvement regarding the tool itself and also on the work process

The solution will be based on existing software components (Flight Search, Sibylle) and the main activities will be:

· DataBase structure modeling and feed with data samples.
· Design and implement the functional flows/use cases and associated process.
· Design and implement the interfaces (Webservices, JSON) between the software components
· Develop/adapt UI
· Test, package and deploy the solution
· Documentation
