The Development Manager will be responsible for leading teams to deliver multiple products to multiple customers. The holder of this position will lead a set of highly skilled/functional teams bringingexperience and knowledge which will be instrumental in engaging and working with various development, Product Management, Implementation teams in ensuring deliveries to customers will be successful. In addition to the team management responsibility,a key part of thejob would also be to manage the evolutions of the product.

Theduty of thisposition is to lead developments of multiple key modules of this product suite utilizing Scrum methodology (transitioning to SAFe), also would be expectedfor identifying and running continuous improvement initiatives toenhance the quality of technology deliverables, improve efficiency and productivity of the team. In his/her responsibilities, the holder of the job will drive planning, project execution and development of technical talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL

- Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies
- Propose viable technical solutions to Stakeholders for validation
- Coordinate unit, package and non-regression tests of the software
- Be accountable for operational excellence of the overall delivery
- Ensure coherent and robust technical architecture in line with company principles and with product requirements

AS PEOPLE MANAGER (this person would manage a team of 10 - 15 developers)

- Assist, guide and motivate team members.Set and follow-up objectives for individuals. Ensure effective utilization of individuals' capacityand check frequently on quantity and quality
- Manage HR activity and procedures related tothis area. Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organizational information. Report on team activities. Conduct annual appraisal interviews
- Provide guidance to employees and colleagues. Development of their teams based on continuous assessment on needs

- Organize and manage support on the developed product, both internally and externally (customers, operations…)
- Support pre-sales activities

- Foster and support team and product integration between Airport IT sites (Orlando, Nice, Bangalore, Singapore) and products

AS TECHNICAL LEADER

- Organize and manage support on the developed product, both internally and externally (customers, operations…)
- Support pre-sales activities

- Assistthemanagement building the vision of the R&D development experience, bringing new ideas, feedbacks and proposals to improve efficiency and product quality

- Foster and support team and product integration between Airport IT sites (Orlando, Nice, Bangalore, Singapore) and products

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Bachelors or master’s in computer science or Engineering (Software Development)

- Minimum 8 Years of relevant IT experience (in airport and/or travel domain related) - preferably with team management experience of >2 years

- Excellent knowledge and practice in agile methodologies (Scrum (required), SAFe (preferred))

- Domain of Java, J2EE, C++, REST, Spring, Hibernate, databases, Angular JS

- Familiar to complete product development lifecycle including production support
- Prior experience in prioritizing roadmap items for delivery
- Cross functional expertise and hands on experience as a developer, architect, business analyst and team lead on complex technology projects (Java)
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms and distributed systems design
- Familiar on workingin cross functional teams (product management, development, QA, customers), understand team dynamics and priorities of each functional stakeholder and work with them to meet the deadlines
- Mustassertive, able to resolve conflicts and gain consensus in a cross functional team
- Strong technical and domain knowledge, should appreciate business priorities so as to understand and appreciate dependencies in a distributed product development environment and resolve the dependencies
