JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a working student, you will:
Actively develop digital tools and solutions (SharePoint, VBA, R or Python) for use cases along the investment value chain, including prediction, optimization and automation problems. Solution design should cover the end-to-end process including translation of business into technical requirements, data collection and preparation, data analysis, prototyping (modeling and coding), testing, presenting the results to business owners.
Gain insight on the investment process by working on different (automatization-)projects together with other working students, interns and colleagues
Work in a digital team and collaborate with colleagues of the Investment Management Life/Health and Investment Management Property and Casualty departments
Further enhance a broad range of analysis methods, tools and reporting standards
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:
You are in the final year of your undergraduate studies or have started your graduate studies in business administration, computer sciences, economics or a related field
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint) and especially VBA
Basic knowledge in R or Python

Experience & Key skills:
You are interested in capital markets and portfolio management
You have a basis knowledge in coding (VBA, R or Python) and are willing to learn more on the job
You are fluent in German or English
You can work independently within a very international and dynamic environment
You are registered as a student for the entire duration of your working contract
