JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as part of a team to oversee the on-going maintenance and availability of the Allianz systems ensuring they meet the desired level of attainment, according to the agreed objectives, standards and compliance.
Take delivery of new technologies and systems implemented by Allianz Project Teams in accordance with the delivery targets
Work on continuous improvement activities to improve project and operational quality according to agreed targets.
Support of environments and applications, ensuring a quality service is maintained and agreed SLA's are met
Advise Team Lead of knowledge gaps and skill shortages in the team that need to be addressed and looking for opportunities.
Take ownership of processes that align with technical area, advising Team Lead of any gaps or inefficiencies that require improvement and would help provide better Customer experience

Support, coach and mentor fellow Team members in line with development targets set by Team Leader.
Ensure problem determination & Root Cause Analysis; troubleshooting and fixing errors to prevent re-occurrence.
Identifying and implementing automation where possible.
Keep abreast of Technologies within technical arena, especially those used within Allianz (globally), supporting use of centrally offered solutions where appropriate
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Experience, technical knowledge and skills required for role;
JBoss Systems Administrator
WAS Systems Administrator
Knowledge of network topology, protocols and security
