JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the continuous development and architectural evolution of the Allianz Business System (ABS), the central and strategic core insurance software solution developed and provided by Allianz Technology Austria to the Allianz Group worldwide
Be the interface between technical, functional, and security architecture. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, corporate standards and technology trends
Moderation, evaluation, and promotion of innovative concepts, accompanying the development of according prototypes and their production quality implementations
Participation in international working groups across the Allianz group globally
Presentation and promotion of the technical Allianz Business System architecture
Support and implementation the Allianz Technology security architecture- and software quality processes
Participation in the implementation of the open source strategy for the Allianz Business System
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Preferably a degree in informatics or a similar qualification
Several years of experience in software development projects, ideally with architecture related roles
In depth knowledge of Java (EE), OSGi, restful web services, JavaScript & HTML user interfaces, microservice-, containerization-, and cloud based architecture patterns
Technical knowledge in C++, IBM DB2 LUW and Linux Operating system is beneficial
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent written and spoken English language skills
German language skills and experience in the insurance industry would be considered as a plus

Gross Salary:
EUR 60.000 (a higher salary could be considered depending on the specific qualifications, experience, and skills)
