JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving empirical and theoretical research in the context of various investment questions
Executing quantitative and qualitative analysis Proactively developing analytical tools and strategy innovations using Excel, VBA and MATLAB
Supporting pitches, projects and client mandates (i.e. covering a broad range of client specific investment topics including the optimization of bespoke investment strategies, preparing bespoke client presentations & reports, etc.)
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Graduate or young professional
Quantitative university degree (such as mathematics, statistics, physics) or related to economics/finance with a quantitative background
Strong quantitative and analytical skills expressed through a good grasp of various quantitative finance concepts and extensive experience with quantitative analyses in Excel/VBA, MATLAB or Python
Practical experience (internship or first professional experience) in asset management, retirement or investment consulting
Ability to stay focused, work under pressure and efficiently manage multiple projects to tight deadlines and to a high quality, including coordination between various teams
Pay attention to detail and continuous desire to learn
Open minded team player, flexible, proactive, self-reliant and forward thinking
Fluent verbal and written skills in English and German are required
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

CFA or PhD is a plus
