JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take ownership of strategic product initiatives and internal projects with global reach affecting the global product universe of AllianzGI
Lead deep dive and targeted white spot analysis to derive, discuss and prepare recommendations for new product related business opportunities and strategic positioning of AllianzGI.
Support the preparation and facilitation of the Global Product Committee
Ensure successful execution of Global Seed Committee and associated relationships for successful seeding process along the value chain
Contribute to a closer collaboration and alignment of the global AllianzGI product universe by understanding local business requirements and its peculiarities for the implementation of global product strategies
Support the Head of Global Product Strategy with daily workflow on an ad-hoc basis, if required
Collaborate with product colleagues across Europe, Asia and the U.S to ensure consistent roll out of pricing strategy
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Several years of professional experience in an analytical position at an asset manager dealing with strategic topics
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines delivering strong results
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong willingness to take on responsibility
Team player with good interpersonal, intercultural and organizational skills
Strong project management acumen
Creative and proactive problem-solving, creating tactical and long term strategic solutions
Excellent presentation and communication skills; Outstanding skills with Excel and Powerpoint, including thinkcell application
Desire to ‘roll up your sleeves
Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages considered a plus

Preferred:
Prior experience in a strategic product role
Morningstar, Evestment, Broadridge database knowledge
