Ensure the operational stability and service quality of the required solutions, also by means of on-call services, project work and flexible working hours
Guidance of the operations and support teams in India and other globally distributed Allianz Technology locations as well as 3rd level support of products and solutions in close collaboration with the hardware and software vendors
Involvement into incident, problem and crisis management and support of change and service requests
Cooperation with and supervision of Allianz Technology strategic partners and vendors in the areas of global networks, data centers and security, escalation engineering and contact management towards the partners, customers and other Allianz Technology units, in particular the Allianz Cyber Defense Center (ACDC)
Involvement in and support of the Allianz IT Transformation (ITTP) programs and assistance of Allianz Technology and Allianz customers and clients during service delivery
Continuous improvement and enhancement of existing technical solutions and deployment and maintenance of appropriate management, administration, monitoring, logging, reporting, backup and recovery systems
Documentation of all deliverables, solutions, systems, infrastructure, processes and procedures as well as development and composition of new concepts, architectures and solutions
Training of and knowledge transfer to the 1st and 2nd level operations team in India and other Allianz Technology locations
Market observation of all relevant technologies and products in the network area, in particular for secure network access
Team working with network security engineers and administrators of other Allianz Technology and Allianz entities and subsidiaries
a) Qualification, certification and experiences:
University degree in computer engineering or information technology or solid hands-on experience in IT and Network
Excellent proficiency and professional skills of technologies, products, hard- and software of Network and Network Security, such as Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN, Remote Access, PKI and Certificate Authorities, Endpoint Protection and Access Control, in particular from vendors Cisco, Check Point, Symantec, EMC/RSA, Juniper/Pulse and Citrix.
Certification for Cisco in particular, but also other vendors desired.
NAC skills, Implementation and Design experience for Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) is a must
Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, in particular Linux and Windows
Considerable practical skills and experience in development and documentation of concepts, designs and technical solution papers, proficiency in working with Microsoft Visio
Readiness for on-call service and able to handle high work peaks
Beneficial would be ITIL certification and skills/experience with software-defined Networking (SDN/SDA/SD-WAN)
Entrepreneurial and strategic orientation, assertiveness, ability to work independently, initiative, ownership and responsibility
Driving change and innovation, result orientation, reliability, even under pressure
Ability to work in a team, fostering relationships, customer focused, adaptability in dynamic, changing environments
Fluent in spoken and written English. German or other languages beneficial

Several years of work experience in network area of big, complex and heterogeneous enterprise environments ments/skills/experience
Many years of experience in planning, implementing and operating network products and technologies, in particular NAC
