Head of AGCS Tax and Transfer Pricing /CFO area (m/f/d) full-time or part-time
Take overall ownership for global adherence to the Transfer Pricing (TP) framework. Monitor changes to global and regional TP regulations and perform qualitative and quantitative impact analyses Continuously monitor and evaluate the company with regards to the TP impact
Maintain an AGCS Tax Management Compliance System. Systematic identification, assessment, management and monitoring of tax risks, AGCS internal implementation of group tax guideline changes
Support managing tax implications and manage TP implications of business model / organizational changes (e.g., centralization or outsourcing of functions) or of significant process changes (e.g., portfolio management, international staff assignments). Support cost center owners when setting up new cost centers (task description, determination of charging necessities and amounts)
Be the ultimate escalation point for tax and TP issues, prepare decisions where unclear or undefined
Ensure up-to-date maintenance of local and regional TP documentation (Service Level Agreements, country file/ masterfile documentation). Documentation of AGCS- internal recharging. Documentation of AGCS inwards and outwards reinsurance transaction. Documentation of International Insurance Business
Be a qualified entry point for tax topics into the organization. Support tax audits with complete documentary proof of all relevant transactions/ recordings. Provide input to tax authorities or to Group as required e.g., remuneration details, related services, rationale of charging, benchmarking
Ensure implementation of adequate infrastructure (tools, systems) for running a state-of-the-art AGCS tax and TP function in collaboration with Group Taxation. Initiate and support process improvements for TP-related activities
Manage compliance support provided by external outsourcing partner in close co-operation with Allianz Group Taxation
Minimum 5 years of experience with tax and/or transfer pricing topics
Minimum 3 years insurance (P&C) or related experience
Proven experience in leading a team
Advanced experience in project and team work in an international and dynamic environment
Education / Certification
Master Degree in Business Administration or Economics
Certified in Financial Management or Tax
Fluent in English and intermediate in German
Advanced Project Management skills while considering complex stakeholder structures and requirements
Very good understanding of transfer pricing practices & issues as well as corporate taxation
Good SAP FI/CO and related reporting systems (BW, ECCS) user skills and excellent PC skills (MS-Office)
Knowledge about relevant international TP and tax legislation; knowledge of OECD guidance on transfer pricing theory and practices/models practical experience of working with transfer pricing laws in a number of countries
Advanced capacity to work independently as a member of cross-functional and international teams
Communication skills both verbal and written tailored to the intended audience in an international and highly transparent environment
Advanced ability to handle complex processes (closing, reporting, finance operations) including understanding of data flows
Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving ability in order to identify appropriate solutions for business challenges
