JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide analysis and presentation for own area of responsibility (lines of business, regions)
Manage regular reporting, forecasting and planning processes in line with both, customer and global requirements
Identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to the business
Present conclusions in a transparent way with robust financial commentary to support decision making.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Required Experience
Professional experience in the financial services industry, ideally P&C insurance or reinsurance
Proven experience in planning and performance management of financial statements and respective analysis
Proven experience in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders
Project and team work – ideally in an international and modern environment

Required Education
Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or qualified by experience in related discipline

Technical Skills
Good Excel and PowerPoint skills to effectively analyze and present financial data.
Ideally experienced using reporting tools (e.g. SAP BW, Cognos)
Understanding insurance financial statements and their performance management including key drivers
Preferably basic programming skills (any language, scripting tools, macros) and IT know how

General Skills

Communication and presentation skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Willingness to learn and acquire new skills in a fast moving environment
