JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What we will empower you to do:
Design, implement, and support key datasets that provide structured and timely access to financial data with the needs of stakeholders always in view.
Interface with other technology teams and partners to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, python/C# and a variety or risklab's internal tools.
Partner with quant analysts, data engineers, and software development engineers to produce complete data solutions.
Investigate and implement new data technologies to solve business problems where appropriate.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
So what does it take to succeed in this role?
We get excited when we see the following:
Experience in writing enterprise-grade software in Python (C# is a very big plus)
Solid experience in data modelling, data engineering, software design, Workflow design and ETL
A proven ability to systematically approach tasks and to manage multiple, at times changing priorities and expectations
At least basic familiarity with & very strong interest in finance and the financial markets

Preferred:
We love it when people can also speak German, but this is not required for the role. Having excellent English, however, is required.
We love it when you have experience with financial data concepts and third-party data providers (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters)
We get excited when you have a track record of supplying quality ‘golden-copy-standard' data
