JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support in the modeling and documentation of medical processes and the identification of process improvement opportunities to drive productivity / efficiency within Medical Operations:
- Drive the build-up of global expertise on the medical processes and share across the group
Identify potential areas of improvement, due to process optimization, to support productivity improvements
Translate local best practices for global application
Provide proper documentation, including business cases, mapping and action plans for improvement
- Support in the target global process roll-out for Medical Operations (specifically the Allianz Global Business Model – GBM) in Allianz Business Systems
Support the drafting / communication of business requirements / change requests to Global/Local Organizational Management team
Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct workshops and work closely with local business units in order to identify and translate their needs into functional requirement specifications, provided it is aligned with the global target

Support transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations (Allianz/Allianz Partner group projects, Digitalization of the Medical value chain, New products/tenders etc.)
- Act as representative of the unit towards other Global functions (Marketing, HR, Sales,…)
- Analyze requests from other departments and recommend proposals / solutions
- Drive alignment of Regional Operational Heads towards a common position
- Support Regional initiatives and projects

Define harmonized standards/procedures for Medical Operations in the following areas:
- Governance, processes, Workforce Management, Systems (incl. ABS), Operational Monitoring (i.e. KPI tracking)

Ensure ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders:
- Prepare ad-hoc updates for management/ team
- Identify issues, escalate them and track resolution
- Ensure alignment with management/Regional Operational Heads on key orientations
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Prior analysis work experience (3+), preferably with Medical Operations background and/or process optimization knowledge (not required)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proven operational experience in driving organizational change in an international environment
Ability to structure strategic topics and communicate effectively to upper management
Pragmatic solution finder
Comfortable in a changing environment, where reactivity to short-notice requests are expected
Previous experience working in a global team
Ability to work autonomously
Demonstrable ability to think “outside of the box” and innovate
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Fluency in English required, German/Italian/French a plus
