JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will be to support several automation projects within Allianz Technology Robotics department with a strong focus on Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and chatbots. This role combines technical knowledge and curiosity with a solution-oriented, forward-looking perspective to conceptualize and implement innovative automation solutions and services at Allianz.

Work with cross-functional development teams to implement complex process automations
Support automation development processes, including quality gates and release management
Perform technical assessment to determine best automation technology fit for business processes
Develop, maintain and optimize reusable components; manage repository
Perform coding and code reviews to ensure that all code is in line with best practices, including maintainability, readability, and efficiency
Support development of new architectures/platforms that will be used globally
Assess cloud migration potential for existing solutions
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Ideally, we are looking for people with a varied background and interesting life experience. We want you to mesh with our energetic, young, dynamic and very international team to bring a modern IT landscape to Allianz and provide innovative automation solutions. On the formal side of things:
You are in an advanced stage of your studies, preferably in one of these areas: Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Science, Automation
We're expecting you to be knowledgeable about enterprise architecture and IT systems, as well as passionate about emerging technologies
You are curious and open-minded with a strong willingness to work with people in an international, dynamic and goal-oriented environment (you ideally have some previous experiences working abroad)
You are characterized by reliability, organization, and self-initiative (you are self-motivated and used to working independently)
You are analytical and solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach to solving problems
You have excellent communication skills in English; German and other European languages are of course a plus
Strong programming fundamentals and knowledge of cloud services
Other bonus skills: Microsoft system administration, automation tools, machine learning, IT Security
You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 4 to 6 months in full-time (38h/week) or - as a working student - part time (16-20 h/week)

An attractive monthly salary of 1.550 € for internships (also for mandatory internships) and for working students 1.700 € for bachelor students and 1.900 € for Master students (on a full-time base)
