JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Documentation
Develop and define a wide-range of documentation, for example functional requirement specifications, system integration testing plan, user manual, etc as required
Maintain documentation on a regular basis and be accountable for the quality and completeness
Communicate (and/or train as necessary) on documentation content

Information collection
Assist in studying and validating user requirement, review and make suggestions to improve IT procedures, standards and/or guidelines (including AGCS as well as Group IT standards)
Evaluate existing systems/processes

Solution development
Develop concepts and solutions for critical applications/systems/etc when required
Take part in global project teams as required

Governance and standards
Conducts analysis on whether IT policies/standards are being followed
Follow up and apply in cases where necessary
Report to IT management on results

Deskside Support
To regularly review performance and trends in response to incidents of all types and to provide recommendations to the Service Centre Manager for service improvement and to standardize the Global desktop solution for AGCS. Act as a point of escalation between the business and SM, whilst working with 3rd parties to ensure deskside service teams are supporting the business. To work with vendors to ensure all centrally managed images are applicable to the needs of the business and that all applications are appropriately packaged and ready for use, whilst implementing procedures to ensure successful deployment and operation of desktop/ laptop system hardware

Stakeholder Management
Proactively work and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (within IT, the business, strategic vendors / outsource partners, among others) to deliver consultantcy and service
Coordinate with other functions (e.g. Finance / Operations) as necessary
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Type of experience:
IT Professional experience (ideally financial services sector)
Experience in managing projects/tasks in a global environment
Experience in application development and production support
International work experience / worked abroad

Education / Certification
In relevant field such as IT, computer science, business
Professional qualifications preferred

Technical Skills
Ability to understand and interpret functional designs of application, etc.
Process workflow & documentations skills
Project management skills (when applicable)
Knowledge of ITIL process flow

General Skills
Communication Skills (including presentation, team work)
Analytical skills
Facilitation skills
International competence (including intercultural awareness)

Languages
Local Language - Fluent (able to negotiate)
English - Working knowledge
