Description of the job

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and you would like to support an Engineering Team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us at the Mechanical Standard Parts Department for 20 hours/week (flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg-Finkenwerder
Start: earliest mid of December 2018
Duration: min. 6 months

We develop and qualify parts that support and connect systems installations. Our work encompasses all ATA chapters, all Airbus Programs, and is truly cross-functional. To say it simply: We support the aircraft from nose to tail.
Examples of our product responsiblity include: Hydraulic hose assemblies – Used throughout the aircraft/ Lightning-resistant fittings/ APU bleed air bellows/ Fuel system seals/ Battery ventilation ducts/ Water distribution

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Assistance in the categorization of flexible hose assemblies, fittings, gaskets, clamps and rigid / flex couplings

·  Help in the technical investigation

·  Support in the creation of theoretical models and provide a technical summary of the above product families

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled full time student within General/Mechanical/ Aerospace/Industrial Engineering or similar field of study

·  Microsoft Office

·  English.: fluent

·  German would be a plus

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
