Description of the job

Duration / End date: 12 months

Within Airbus, the Airbus Global Sourcing Governance (AGSG) department sets-up a Global Sourcing Network with Sourcing Offices in Strategic Countries with the objective to further improve Airbus global sourcing footprint. Within this context, the Airbus Global Sourcing department has reached a significant increase of sourcing from outside home countries achieving the expected Globalisation targets.

The AGSG department supports all Airbus Group Divisions and Business Units in identifying and qualifying new suppliers across the world beyond Western Europe.
The global sourcing strategy is based on several drivers such as value for cost, market access and risk management.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

You will support the department in finding an optimised data management tool to manage the Airbus Procurement Value Chain analysis database.

This will include the definition of an optimised tool

·  Streamlining the input phase
·  Database consolidation
·  Working to improve the dynamic creation of dashboards

Additionally within the Value For Cost Analysis the mission of the internship will be to support the Airbus Global Sourcing Department In

·  Driving global sourcing costing activity yearly campaign interfacing with all Regional Sourcing Offices (USA, China, India ) and focal points in Asia and with Airbus Finance department
·  Delivering an updated costing database.

Additionally you will support to deliver Value Chain Analysis in specific countries as required performing extracts and presentations to support ad-hoc top management requirements.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Data Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or similar field of study
·  Data Science background
·  Very good knowlede within MS-Excel
·  Good skills on macro programming
·  English: fluent/negotiation level

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
