InFactory Solutions is a recently founded Airbus start-up. As a 100% subsidiary of the Airbus CTO we are familiar with the latest production methods and bring new technologies and innovations of the Aerospace industry into other markets and vice versa. Currently our focus is on technologies related to IoT and the implementation into the A350 aerospace production. This includes “in-process-monitoring” sensor systems, data analytics and augmented reality.

The INFactory Solutions team is looking for a Working Student (m/f) to work in the field of Robotics and Simulation.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Develop a simulation to determine the performance of our sensor system, based on various parameters such as sensor design and robot trajectories
·  Prepare and conduct experiments with industrial robots
·  Correlate the results of simulation and experiment
·  Support us with the automation of a test rig by developing python scripts

Required skills

Your profile

·  Studying for a Bsc in electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics or a related subject.
·  Some Practical experience with industrial robotics, preferably KUKA KRC2 or KRC4
·  Good Python and C++ skills (image processing with OpenCV and automation)
·  Prior experience with composite materials and processes (especially automated fibre placement) is an advantage
·  German language skills would be a plus.
