InFactory Solutions is a recently founded Airbus start-up. As a 100% subsidiary of the Airbus CTO we are familiar with the latest production methods and bring new technologies and innovations of the Aerospace industry into other markets and vice versa. Currently our focus is on technologies related to IoT and the implementation into the A350 aerospace production. This includes “in-process-monitoring” sensor systems, data analytics and augmented reality.

Description of the job

The INFactory Solutions team is looking for a Working Student to support the further development of our sensor systems.

In our team (10-15 employees), you will be the assistant to the CEO for support functions topics.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Planning, execution and evaluation of experiments
·  Support in the further development of sensors for vacuum infusion and
·  Automated Fiber Placement
·  Classic mechanical engineering tasks" in our workshop

Required skills

Your profile

·  Student in the field of mechanical engineering or related studies
·  Practical experience in the field of composites, ideally vacuum infusion
·  Experience with CATIA V5 and Labview advantageous
·  Enthusiasm and passion for technical innovations
