Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Tasks & accountabilities

For Airbus in Hamburg within the Department Internal Communication Germany we are looking for a VIE – Project Support Airbus Foundation (m/f).

Start: December 2018/January 2019
Duration: 24 months

Corporate Communications at Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg covers the areas of Media Relations and Internal Communication and is responsible for the Airbus sites in Hamburg, Bremen, Stade, Buxtehude and Fuhlsbüttel. The main tasks of the team are to create and maintain a positive image of Airbus in Germany on the basis of the Airbus communication strategy towards different target groups.

Airbus Foundation drives the Company's worldwide philanthropic actions, devoting our resources to effective partnerships with volunteer associations and international aid organisations. From relief flights aboard Airbus test aircrafts, to satellite imagery and helicopter hours, the Foundation integrates the activities of all Airbus' Divisions, each uniquely suited to provide resources that can bloster our partners' endeavours.

Tasks

·  Support in the organization of the project Foundation Flying Challenge in Hamburg, Stade and Bremen as well as further coordinating Foundation activities, such as support relief flights

·  Manage meetings in German and English

Required skills

You offer:

·  University degree in Journalism, Communication or similar field

·  First Job experience in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism are helpful

·  Interest in project work

·  German: fluent level needed

·  English: fluent

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
