Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

You will work within the Supply Management of Airbus Helicopters, act as a Buyer in Donauwörth for 24 months, start in December 2017.

Your responsibilities:

·  Manage relationship with defined suppliers with management of call for tenders and negotiations with suppliers
·  Support transnational standardization projects in the frame of saving action plans addressing the total cost of ownership
·  Guarantee along the supplier relationship "one voice to the supplier"
·  Acting as focal point for the suppliers
·  Consolidate and report suppliers' performance

Required skills

·  University degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar field
·  First job experience in the Supply Management, especially Contract Management, needed
·  Sound knowledge in MS Office
·  English: fluent, negotiation level
·  French: fluent
·  Basics in German would be helpful

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
