Description of the job

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Tasks & accountabilities

For Airbus Germany in Stade (near Hamburg) within the Department Process,Productivity & Improvement (PPI) we are looking for a VIE -Performance Management

Start: January 2019 earliest
Duration: 12 months

The Process and Productivity Improvement (PPI) department is responsible to identify where optimization efforts are necessary in the production areas of the plant Stade and at the same time supports the dedicated departments in the plant on the way to optimize their way of working. Among this the integration of major AOS and lean methods projects into the production as e.g. Line balancing, Process time optimization, Digitalization is part of PPI as well as the dedicated Investment planning and Performance Management with e.g. Balance Score Card methods and the steering and controlling of the running improvements projects.

Tasks:

·  Measure business performance via collection, consolidation/synthesis of performance indicators
·  Manage performance through root cause analysis, risks/opportunities identification, recommendations
·  Identify/drive improvement projects to reach targeted performance
·  Support internal and external best pratices identification & sharing
·  Support the roll out and implementation of a new Customer value added time, CapEx controlling tool in Stade

Required skills

You offer:

·  University Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Economics or similar study
·  First experience in Project, Improvement and Performance Management welcome
·  MS Office
·  Background in Aerospace Business not mandatory
·  English: fluent
·  German would be a plus
