Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Development of tracking algorithms for a space-based object tracking system
·  Analysis of tracking filters for performance comparisons to select the optimal algorithm
·  Implementation of the selected algorithm into a code framework (preferred programming language: Fortran)
·  Modularisation of the code implementation with object oriented programming techniques to facilitate integration into the space-based tracking System

A code framework in Fortran 2003 is available and can be used as a starting point.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Space Engineering or similar field of study
·  Prior knowledge in data filtering algorithms (e.g. Kalman Filtering) and numerical methods
·  Coding-experiences in Fortran, C/C+
·  English: fluent
·  German: would be a plus

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
