Description of the job

A vacancy for an Eurofighter Flight Control System Test Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “FCS Integration & EDR”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ Integrate L2 and L3 requirements into Test Procedures for Eurofighter Flight Control System (FCS)
¤ Execute Test Procedures at the Rigs.
¤ Evaluation of results and Analysis of plots.
¤ Release Test results reports after test completion.
¤ Perform Technical Checks and Reviews.
¤ Perform SW Code Analysis.
¤ Support the creation of Documentation for Test Campaigns (Test Procedures, Test Reports, Query Notes)
¤ Create, maintain and validate internal macros and tools in the Test area.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Engineer degree on aeronautics, electrical/electronic or equivalent.
·  Experience in Hardware/Software Integration and System Testing
·  Experience with MaTE Test System
·  Experience in Control Laws area desired
·  ADA and FOTRAN knowledge desired
·  Java and other programming languages desired.
·  Englisch: fluent, German nice to have.
