Job Description

A vacancy for a Teamleader EF System Design (d/m/w) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “EF

System Design”.

In this position you will be in charge of EF System Design (TAEXS-TL2) and will be responsible for the management, qualification and development of approx. 20
employees. They report directly to the head of TEAXS 'Weapon System EF' and provide an on-demand and on-schedule order processing on the
Location Manching under consideration of costs and quality safe.

Your main tasks include:
- Professional and disciplinary management of the subordinated employees
- Execution of resource and shift planning for employees
- Delegation of tasks and responsibilities to achieve a good distribution of workload and goals within the team
- Ensuring the availability of plants and required materials
- Planning and assignment of work packages to suppliers
- Progress control based on SAP, milestones, quality gates and KPIs
- Ensuring the required employee qualification
- Informing employees about current company, project and department topics
- Maintaining interfaces and building productive relationships with suppliers, neighboring departments and customers
- Development, measurement and improvement of processes, methods and tools, taking into account and using LEAN, QUEST and COMPETE.
 

The best match for us is if you have the following knowledge and qualifications:
- You have a degree in engineering or natural sciences or a comparable qualification.
- You have extensive experience in development and engineering, ideally in the field of combat aircraft avionics.
- You already have experience in the technical and disciplinary management of a large team.
- You are an advocate of agile methods (SCRUM) and you know how to inspire your employees with this way of working.
- Requirements-based development is a must for you
- You are a professional when it comes to avionics development and the associated aviation law processes and regulations.
- You prefer to work independently and process-oriented and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You enjoy travelling at home and abroad to suppliers, customers and project partners.
- and of course you are fluent in German and English
