Description of the job

A vacancy for a Systems Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Ground Loading System”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Implementation of customer requirements according to V model in design and code of TOGSS-TSS2
·  Preparation of acceptance documentation including interfaces on the office side in accordance with approval and testing procedures of the contracting authority for submission to GPS and LufABw
·  Participation in acceptance tests by quality assurance, the quality assurance department and the end customer (compatibility tests)
·  Conception and design of TOGSS-TSS2
·  Participation in the implementation of a graphical user interface and operational software at the design level
·  Analysis and evaluation of existing charging and communication protocols
·  Coordination of development and testing activities
·  Ensuring the correct implementation of customer requirements in the final product
·  Support in the development of concepts for new charging systems

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or similar
·  Experience in the software development of safety-critical systems
·  Very good knowledge in object-oriented analysis and design
·  Good knowledge of XML, UML, C++,Windows 7 & 10, Windows API, MS Visual Studio, Java and Eclipse
·  Good knowledge of military bus systems and interfaces such as Panavia Link, Stanag 3838 and Stanag 3910 and their hyperprotocols
·  Experience in the field of Tornado avionics desirable
·  Distinct skills in the preparation of formal development documentation
·  Very good knowledge of RTCADO standards
·  Good knowledge of the approval and testing procedures of LufABw and GPS
·  German/English: fluency and business fluency
