Description of the job

A vacancy for a Supportability Engineer - Reliability/Availability (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TASSE3 - Supp. Engineering Trsp./Miss. GE”

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Analysis of maintenance requirements and assessment of logistics resources
·  Development of logistic-relevant design requirements and their integration into the design documents.
·  Creation and control of Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA, FMECA)
·  Allocation of logistics-relevant design requirements within the product / system structure
·  Preparation and evaluation of availability concepts and related analyses
·  Performance of reliability analyses, tests and demos to predict future behavior, capabilities and properties of systems and devices
·  Tool and Data Management for Reliability, Availability Maintainability and Testability (RAMT)
·  influencing the design based on the results of RAMT analyses, tests and demos
·  Close communication with other disciplines in the development process

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Completed studies (engineering / aerospace technology / flight safety) or comparable education
·  Experience in a comparable position
·  Analytical skills
·  Fluent in German and English
·  Experience in the aerospace/defence industry advantageous
