Description of the job

We are looking for a Supply Officer (m/f/d) for Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Stade to join Supply Mgmt. / A380/A400M at the earliest possible date.
This is a perfect opportunity to work on a dynamic team and network between Stade Plant, the Final Assembly Lines and the Procurement world.
As the successful candidate you will drive supplier performance across the end to end supply chain in a fast-moving, digital environment.
In this role you will have to manage a portfolio of suppliers in support of all Airbus Programs and global supply chain.

Tasks & accountabilities

The key mission of the Supply Officer is:

1. Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitalization means:

·  Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions
·  Demand and forecast control
·  Communicate effectively to internal customers and external suppliers
·  Supply chain prioritization
·  Challenge Supplier performance
·  Lead & Drive Supplier recoveries
·  Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy
·  Specify and use of process automation
·  Use data management tools to drive decisions in the supply chain
·  Order Book Management and maintaining MRP Master Data
·  Co-ordinate Supplier Working Parties

2. Interact transnationally with suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers) and proactively operate in a procurement community as partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer
3. Be the 1st point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.
4. Own and optimize Procured Goods Stock and define parameter for optimization
5. Create the future: Support Supply chain and Logistics Transformation projects
6. Support implementation and optimization of digital tools to strength and speed up data management in supply chain.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Supply Chain/Business Administration or a related discipline
·  Solid experience ideally in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering
·  Experience in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools (MSOffice, SAP, VBA programming, Excel macros)
·  Experience in transnational working and ability to handle intercultural differences
·  MRP expertise in a manufacturing environment
·  Project management and LEAN experience
·  Expertise in problem solving
·  Team player
·  Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
·  Willingness to travel and flexibility (max. 20%)
·  Negotiation level of English and German.
