With 50 years of experience in high-end antenna measurement techniques, Airbus offers Compensated Compact Ranges (CCRs) that are designed for advanced antenna pattern and payload measurements with satellites of today, and for future generations. Airbus' compact range programme represents the world standard in antenna test facilities for the space industry.

Within this area, we are looking for an “RF Measurement Engineer (m/f)”.

The following tasks and responsibilities are part of the profile:

o Definition of subsystem requirements for antenna test facilities
o Design of RF instrumentation for antenna measurement systems
o Interface Engineering of subsystems w.r.t. to subcontractors
o Preparation of design documents as well as installation- and test procedures
o Cooperation with the procurement department procuring external components
o Operational antenna and payload measurements in our state-of-the-art test facilities
o On-Site installation and acceptance testing of antenna measurement systems (worldwide)
o Documentation and presentation of technical results

This position is also suitable for graduates.

Required skills

What are we looking for?

o You are educated to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, High Frequency Engineering - or equivalent
o You have a good knowledge of RF and Antenna Technique
o You are experienced with state-of-the-art CAE Design Tools like Matlab
o Your way of working is proactive and team-oriented
o You have already proven to be a good teamplayer
o You are ready for worldwide on-site missions
o You are fluent in German and English
