Description of the job

A vacancy for a Project Manager (f/m) A400M GSD In Service Support has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TASSI6 - Support Syst Engineering”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Meeting customer requirements during the In-Service Phase regarding product/system availability over the entire Service Life
·  Providing logistic resources and services iaw ILS concept and customer demands to generally satisfy the customers availability- and cost-of-ownership-requirements through the life of the system and ensure the profitability of the services provided for own organisation
·  Being responsible for logistic resources, supplies and services, corrective actions and solutions due to obsolescence or modifications; updating ILS concepts to achieve Product/System Availability and Customer Satisfaction
·  Managing the support contracts and its support requirements in relation to the customer, external partners/consortia and suppliers, as well as internal and external subcontractors
·  Planning, implementing and operating the product/system-related support system
·  Managing Service Level Agreements (SLA) between the service provider and customer
·  Managing Incidents and Problems
·  Managing Configuration and Changes incl. obsolescence
·  Planning, delivering, distributing and tracking releases or updates into a live environment
·  Initiating and coordinating RAMT analysis and LSA tasks (Logistic Engineering)
·  Updating ILS concepts due to changes in budget, operational usage or environment, product/system changes, etc.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a University degree level in aerospace engineering or a related discipline
·  Consolidated knowledge in project management
·  Knowledge in A400M Ground Support Devices within their operational Environment
·  Appropriate international experience
·  Strong communication skills and capacity for teamwork
·  Negotiation level of English and basic skills in German and Spanish are required
