Description of the job :
A vacancy for an Structure Analysis Composite Engineer has arisen within Airbus AOSL Getafe (Madrid).

Task & accountabilities :
Analysis and Validation of composite & hybrid structures for static & fatigue strength. Ensure safe operation of the Product with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness.

Analyse and validate composite & hybrid structures for static & fatigue strength according to validated methods. Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines. Define, interpret and validate tests. Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders. Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support, ...) as needed. Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures. Perform monitoring/guidance/support of Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work.

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Educated to degree level in Engineering
• Experience in Engineering 5 years
• Experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Metal 3-5 years
• Spanish & English advanced
