  Packaging Engineer (d/f/m) with carpenter education  

Are you looking for new challenges and do you have experience within Logistics?

We are looking for a Packaging Engineer (d/f/m) with carpenter education within Satair (a 100% subsidiary of Airbus) in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel to join the 'Warehouse Management Hamburg & PRG' team at the earliest possible start date.

The mission of the department is to optimize the global packaging to deliver after sales logistics in excellence. 

As a Packaging Engineer (d/f/m) with carpenter education , your primary role will be to develop together with the service provider the packaging for Aircraft parts, and tools.

What can you expect?

·  Developing, implementing and monitoring the packaging/design scope for the Satair business
·  Managing the Airbus Operation Plan (AOP) and cross checking actual financials with planned to ensure full Satair Cost Coverage
·  Building and maintaining strong customer satisfaction through quick response times as well as qualified responses to all customer requests
·  Complying with Satair’s mission, values, quality systems, standard operating procedures and ISO manual
·  Contributing to a positive and inspiring working environment
·  Coordinating internal and external stakeholders
·  Ensuring the link to research & development for new technologies and innovations / cooperation with science & talents      

What do you bring?

·  You hold a degree in Design Engineering or a related discipline
·  You have knowledge of packaging design
·  PC literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases
·  You are familiar with work-related routines under Airbus/Satair’s ERP system
·  You are familiar with all design IT systems e.g. CATIA V5
·  You have experience in doing advanced mathematical researches
·  Negotiation level of English and German is mandatory
