Job Description

A vacancy for an Order Handler has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Corsham.

The successful applicant will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.

Responsibilities:

·  Support tasks to the N+1 Order Handling Manager as required
·  Act as the Airbus focal point for MoD SFT in the GOSCC (Global Operation Security Control Centre) – Basil Hill.
·  The Order Handling team facilitate all Service Portfolio requirements received into Airbus Defence & Space from Order Development through to Service Fulfilment
·  Promote a positive image (corporate clothing) and a quality service culture demonstrating a good personal presentation especially when dealing the customer face to face
·  The aim to reflect and foster a truly customer focused culture in line with Best Practice and to achieve Customer Service Excellence
·  Providing potential solutions for Customer Requests so to meet the metrics and customer needs
·  Assist to resolve problems in the course of delivering Customer Requests together with Escalating incidents which may impact service metrics or cannot be resolved
·  Supporting a 24/7/365 days service maximising efficient use of resources with the ability to operate in primary and secondary locations
·  Meet KPI’s in accordance with service performance commitments
·  Maintain a current working knowledge in building orders through the Secure Web, Cascade, SAP and other applications pertinent to the role and have an awareness of new services
·  Developing desk standards, procedures and processes in line with Best Practices and Business needs
·  General administration – accurate processing, recording, filing and archiving of all correspondence relating to all service types
·  Maintain a high standard of Customer Service.  Carry out team quality checks and support on the job training when appropriate
·  Write up information into the weekly report highlighting trends, incidents and issues which impact services supported.
·  Meticulous attention to detail and ability to priories workload

Essential Competencies:
 

· 
Ensuring all aspects of Company and Customer Security policy are upheld

· 
Maintaining confidentially of work undertaken and upholding Official Sensitive / Commercial in Confidence information at all times

·  Provide bi-monthly 1-2-1 feedback to N+1 capturing details on personal development progress for agreed Individual/Team Goals
·  Successful Applicant must be capable of holding UK  MOD SC clearance.
· 
Keeping security passes in date and regular checks made to assure access is available when applicable. This also applies to monthly logging in of IT systems

Desirable Competencies:

· 
ITIL Foundation

· 
Experienced Customer Services in the communications network services with an understanding of the SKYNET 5 / 6 Contract.

· 
Ability to work multi domain IT Networks in line with current security procedures (including List X site standards)
