Description of the job

Are you looking for a final year project? Would you like to discover the work of an EM simulation specialist ?Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us.

Location: Bremen
Start: 01.01.2018
Duration: 6 months

You will write your final thesis in the department for EMC-Testing & Signatures. They operate a number of in-house electromagnetic field simulators for EMC and Radar signature simulation. There is the constant need to adapt these tools to new project requirements or to develop and implement new numerical algorithms.

ISAR imaging is an indispensable tool for Radar signature reduction. The ISAR imaging tool is combined with the Multilevel Fast Multipole (MLFMM) electromagnetic field solver. In order to improve the efficiency of the formulation, the MLFMM frequency sampling has to be as coarse as possible.
