Job Description

Development Engineer (d/f/m) Hardware

A vacancy for Development Engineer (d/f/m) Hardware has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join “department 'Radar UGS & P/L Data Processing'”.

Within the department 'Radar UGS & P/L Data Processing' the successful candidate will be in charge of the following activities:

- Analysis of technological and technical requirements

- Specifying and implementing complex H/W solutions

- Development and integration of H/W components

- Implementation of the H/W system integration

About you:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification

- experience with Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL, Fedora or CentOS

- Experience in automated delivery techniques (Ansible)

- Experience in virtualization

- Knowledge of network protocols

- Background to processes and standards in the aerospace industry is a plus point

- Ability to integrate into a multinational team and build good results in relationships with international customers, subcontractors, laboratories and scientific institutions.

- Motivation and initiative to contribute ideas for further development in the field of data processing

- Advanced German and English skills
