Description of the job

A vacancy for a Management/ Technical Assistant (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join “TESA - AstroBus & EO/Science/Exploration MSC”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

The jobholder acts as management assistant to the Friedrichshafen Head of Site (direct reporting line) and the ENS Program Management (functional reporting line). The task sharing is in the order of 50/50%.

Your main tasks include:

·  Support the Head of Site in all aspects of the mission, operational and strategic tasks
·  Prepare and analyse information in general or transversal topics for decision making
·  Support and lead dedicated projects
·  Represent Head of Site in specific areas and boards
·  Prepare and support site presentations, site tours, site events, reviews, PR-events and other internal or external meetings or workshops
·  Provide analytical, planning, monitoring and forecast activities based on available data, practices or trends
·  Prepare presentations, speeches, documents, scorecards etc. and ensure proper follow-up of allocated tasks and consistent information
·  Work close with other sites in Germany, France, UK and Spain

Required skills

·  Academic degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
·  Proven experience in international working
·  Strong knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
·  Ability to deal with various stakeholders and all levels of management
·  Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
·  Analytical way of thinking and working
·  Hands-on mentality, energy and tenacity and pragmatic approach
·  English and German languages to negotiation level
