Description of the job

A vacancy for a Low Level Software Developer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “MMS Architectures & Integration”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Software Requirements Engineering
·  Experience in Low Level / Hardware and Realtime related Software Design
·  Knowledge of RTOS Concepts and APIs
·  Design POST and Hardware Monitoring Functions
·  Define Performance Criteria including Validation and Verification Strategy.
·  Define Design Validation Strategy
·  Define Hardware/Software and Software/Software Integration Strategy
·  Interfacing to and managing of Subcontractors
·  Implement a Hardware and Software Design consistent with allocated requirements and architectual constraints.

The working place is in Ulm until end of 2019.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree with emphasis on Engineering / Avionics, Electrical Engineering or similar
·  Demonstrated ability to master the design and/or perform analysis of Low level Software designs (Hardware imposed constraints, Timing Analysis, Worst Case Execution Time Analysis)
·  Knowledge of test and debug techniques.
·  Ability to assess the Compliance of a Design Solution toward Baseline.
·  C and Assembler Language Knowledge
·  Strong DO-178B Background
·  English: fluent
