A vacancy for a System Engineer Avionics (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join "TEA- Military Aircraft Engineering".

the Tornado Defensive Aids System.

What do we offer?

·  Being involved in the development of Attack & Identification (A&I) Sub-system
·  A wide range of technical as well as social aspects.
·  Being part of the generation of the Avionic System (AVS) requirements/design including the integration and

control of the Interface

·  Design and integrate electronic reconnaissance and self-protection systems and supervise the development

through the entire life cycle.

·  We can offer a very interesting and challenging field of technology such as RF/EO Systems, Radar Technology,

Radar and Missile Warner systems, Sensor Fusion & Sensor Management as well as RF and IR counter
measure techniques.

Required skills

What are we looking for?

·  A profoundly educated engineer with university degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent (PhD is

welcome)

·  Proactive attitude and good team working qualities
·  Ability of structured and independent working
·  Basic knowledge of system engineering standards (ARP 4754a, Incose)
·  Experience in Statemate, FaultTree+ and DOORS is welcome
·  Possible knowledge with RF, Sensors, Sensor Fusion, System Design, System Integration und Supplier

Management

·  Fluent in English and German (Spanish is welcome)
