A vacancy for a Software Engineer for Embedded Computing (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “ Military Aircraft Engineering”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

Software engineering of embedded computer software for aircraft equipment:
¤ Software development and verification acc. DO-178C and programme related software standards (e.g. Eurofighter, Tornado)
¤ Modelling, design and automatized code generation with ANSYS/Esterel SCADE
¤ Design and coding with programming languages C and Ada
¤ Host and target based software testing
¤ Performing static code analysis
¤ Performing worst case execution time analysis and transport delay analysis
¤ Definition, application and optimisation of software processes and methods within the contractual development standards framework
¤ Development and/or adaptation of required engineering tools in the programming language Java

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Degree in Engineering or similar
·  Working experience in Engineering
·  First Experience in Embedded Software
·  English and German Fluent
