Tasks & accountabilities

The JUICE mission addresses the question of wether possible of life are provided underneath the surface of the icy satellites Callisto, Ganymede and Europa as well as observation of Jupiter's atmosphere and magnetosphere. Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse is the industrial prime contractor for the JUICE Mission, the Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Friedrichshafen is responsible for electrical engineering (incl. magnetics), part of the instruments and AIT. Launch is planned in 2022.

·  Main task will be to support the JUICE electric / magnetic system-engineering team

·  You will work directly within the project team.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar field of study

·  Knowledge in physics/mathematical simulations

·  good knowledge in Matlab, Python, Django (web applications) and Databases

·  Knowledge of electric and magnetic field theory

·  Background in magnetics and EMC is advantageous

·  Experience with Linux would be a plus

·  English: fluent

·  German would be plus
