Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work within Procurement? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) within the “Procurement: Commodity IT and Software” department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Ottobrunn
Start: August / September 2017
Duration: 6 months

As an intern you will learn about divisional sourcing of IT Hardware, software & services for products and external customers, standardisation and bundling of IT demands, professional evaluation and development of our suppliers.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Assisting in the identification and gathering of purchasing potentials
·  Supporting and launching RFI/RFP events (via the Airbus DS procurement tool) and following up the ordering process
·  Preparation of negotiation results and supplier proposals
·  Assisting in the creation of the respective commodity- and supplier strategies
·  Special tasks. e.g. project tasks to support team leaders

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Economics, Business Administration, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or similar field of study
·  Very good MS Office knowledge
·  English: good skills
·  German: would be a plus

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills and you are able to work independently.
