Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of an international Finance expert team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Participation Management Team (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Ottobrunn (Munich)
Start: March 2017
Duration: 5-6 months

This internship is a great opportunity to have a look into the Defence and Space Industry as well as in a multinational company. You will be part of an international team set up to manage participations and subsidiaries of the Airbus Defence and Space Division (Airbus DS). If you like to get an inside of a world-wide operating company with a mixture of finance, legal and strategic topics, if you are good communicator, accurate in your work, this is the right position for you!

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Update, improve the database including legal and financial information on all the participations and subsidiaries of Airbus DS
·  Update Airbus DS legal entity charts
·  Interact, communicate with managers/colleagues from different countries and teams (mainly Finance and Legal),
·  Fulfill activities such as analyzing yearly financial statements and preparing company profiles also on an ad-hoc basis
·  Support different projects, like the implementation of a new IT tool for participation management
·  Support Portfolio Management/M&A activities (valuations, due diligences support etc.)

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Business Administration, Finance or similar field of study
·  Good knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Solid understanding of Finance & Accounting
·  First job experience in Finance (also as intern) would be a plus
·  English: fluent, negotiation level
·  German: fluent, negotiation level
·  Knowledge in French, Spanish would be an asset

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
