Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of an Aircraft Engineering Team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Mass Estimation & Control Hamburg department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg
Start: October 2018
Duration: 5-6 months

We are responsible to prediction and determination of all Airbus A/C Mass Properties. Our main tasks are mass estimation, control, A/C stabilitiy analysis, mass database for loads, customization and commercial activities with the airlines. Mass properties domain tasks and activities are present in development and serial phase and has strong interaction with the design offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Analyze and conclude current design activities concerning mass and cg
·  Mass Properties Analysis from Component up to A/C Level
·  Support A/C deliveries and Commercial activities
·  Support Benchmarks activities
·  Support Team Events

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

Your offer:

·  Enrolled student within Aerospace/General/Electrical Engineering or similar field of study
·  MS Office (G-Suite desirable)
·  CAD, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge
·  Experience with Databank, e.g. SQL helpfull
·  English: fluent
·  German would be a plus

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
