Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Flight Physics Capability Development team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Capability Operations Bremen (35 hours/week, flexi-time).
Location: Bremen
Start: September/October 2018
Duration: 3 months minimum
Activities of Capability Development Bremen: Deliver optimized overall vehicle solutions, by driving and developing world class capabilities at the core of Airbus vehicle architecture and integration. Ability to design, develop, and validate Flight-Physics methods and tools for all Flight Physics Processes and to ensure multidisciplinary integration of Flight Physics capabilities.
Furthermore: Translate Flight Physics Processes needs in terms of capability development into methods and tools specifications and validation. Design, develop, and validate Flight Physics methods and tools. Drive applications of M&T and define best practices to be used by business teams. Ensure methods development for all Flight Phyiscs Modelling such as Performance modelling, FMS operations, Weight control process.... and Computational Simulation techniques (CFD, CFD-CSM coupling, aerothermal analysis, aeroacoustics, icing, optimization methods, Identification methods...). Ensure multidisciplinary integration of Flight Physics capabilities and ensure that solutions meet technical and user requirements. Ensure operational services & support to Flight Physics teams.

Activities in the frame of the Internship:
· Development of supporting or bridging Tools for flight physics purposes
· Exploring new emerging technologies and capabilities such as big data, data anaytics, machine learning, artifcial intelligence
· Development and application of new visualization techniques (VR, AR)
· Development of use-cases

Required skills
You offer:
· Enrolled student (m/f) within Informatics, Computer Science, Simulation, Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study
· Knowledge Coding Languages: C, C++, Python, Java, Eclipse, VBA
· English: fluent
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
