Internship within Engineering: Evaluation of In-Service and Flight Test Data

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Flight Physics Engineering Team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Maneuver & ground Loads Hamburg department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).
Start: January 2019
Duration: 6 months
The internship is placed within the Engineering / Flight Physics / Loads & Aeroelastics domain. The work is related to flight and ground loads acting on aircraft in operation to support marketable services initiative targeting Single Aisle fleet flight loads monitoring.

Tasks & accountabilities
· In-Service Event simulation, modelling, validation and marketable service solution
· Evaluation of in-service and flight test data
· Data acquisition and signal processing collected in-service
· Data analytics and code integration on external data cloud
· Documentation of all studies in English including used and developed software
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
· Enrolled student within Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study
· Advanced Matlab and Python skills are mandatory
· English: fluent
· German: intermediate
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
