Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of production planning and control? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at A400M (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Bremen
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 3-6 months

Production Control combines planning, steering, enablement and technical support of all production related topics. It aims in consolidating all functions to reach major milestones for fuselage delivery.

Major Tasks

·  Plan work orders / steps in right sequence
·  Enhance continously sequence
·  Involve necessary functions to solve technical issues
·  Follow missing parts to enable work on time
·  Visualize progress in reaching major Milestones

Production Planning and Control is the Interface of the production line to the supportive functions like Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Quality Line Side Support, Quality Conformance Management, etc.. You will be able to get in direct contact with mentioned functions in order to clarify Interfaces, discuss production issues and create a network.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Develop measurement system to measure scheduling accuracy
·  Support on digitalization projects referring to Industry 4.0 (e.g. paperless production, planning automization, etc.)
·  Continue to develop a concept for optimized missing part management based on database development
·  Optimization of production logbook tools
·  Analysis and optimization of the logisitic flow in the Hangar
·  Automatization of reports and daily work streams

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within natural science, mathematics, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field of study
·  Software skills:
·  Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Word
·  VBA (advanced)
·  PHP (not essential)
·  MySQL (not essential)
·  Languages: fluently English, basically German

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
