Description of the job
Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the world of Radio Frequency System? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) in the Engineering Department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).
Location: Friedrichshafen
Start: March – April 2019
Duration: 5-6 months
Tasks & accountabilities
This task investigates how Radio Frequency (RF) emitters can be recognized and classified by the use of Neural Networks. The goal is the availability of a RF “Fingerprint” Simulink model which recognizes a RF emitter from its signal RF spectrum.
Given Neural Network architectures shall be integrated in Matlab/Simulink then optimized and tested with RF signals under realistic conditions.
Your exciting Tasks are:
· Integrate/implement a given Neural Network in Matlab/Simulink
· Run the Neural Network in conjunction with a given Software Defined Radio (SDR) and synthetic / real RF signals
· Evaluate the results
· Train the Neural Network with (new) synthetic or real RF signals using Google Tensorflow
· Deploy the Simulink model onto an embedded computer
· Prepare and participate in field tests
· Document your work
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
