Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:
For Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth, we are looking for a student (m/f) for the VEHICLE ARCHITECTURE, INTEGRATION & MAINTAINABILITY / INTEGRATION VERIFICATION & MEANS (Digital Mock-Up,...) division for the civil/military HS models EC135, EC145, TIGER and NH90:

Digital Mock-Up (DMU) Management:

·  Definition of Digital Mock-Up guidelines and user training Digital Mock-Up Management
·  Ensure 3D data quality in collaboration with affected departments and external partners
·  Definition of measures to improve data quality
·  Organization of the 3D data transfer withthe partners
·  Check the completeness and quality of 3D models, if necessary request correct 3D models from the relevant departments

Integration coordination:
For new developments and further developments of existing helicopter programs:

·  Implementation of concept
·  Integration studies regarding freedom of movement, function, accessibility, maintainability, functional and operational compatibility, AH internally and with partners
·  Organisation of digital mock-up meetings Aibus Helicopter internally and with partners to avoid incompatibilities (geometric, functional, safety relevant, accessibility, maintainability)
·  Presentation of the results in presentations / reports, possibly with associated action plans
·  Follow-up of the action plans, development of solution proposals and execution of final collision investigations before design freeze and production release

Virtual Reality Studio:

·  3D/DMU presentation and handling of Virtual Reality tools (Vizwall, Spacemouse/-pilot, etc.) in the Virtual Reality Studio / DMU-3D room)

You have the following knowledge:

·  Basic knowledge of mechanical installation/integration of equipment and/or structural elements
·  Basic knowledge of CAD software (CATIA V4/V5)
·  Good MS Office knowledge
·  Programming (VBA or similar) desirable
·  German fluent / business fluent
·  Advanced English

mechanical engineering, materials testing or comparable field of study

·  Basic knowledge of mechanical installation/integration of equipment and/or structural elements
·  Basic knowledge of CAD software (CATIA V4/V5)
·  Good MS Office knowledge
·  Programming (VBA or similar) desirable
·  German fluent / business fluent
·  Advanced English
